MISAKI USHIOZU × Cycle LONG SLEEVE TEE -EARTH MIX-

山梨県北杜市を中心に活動する植物染めアーティスト「MISAKI USHIOZU」(@8msk_31) とのコラボレーション。
本来、植物染色における純粋な抽出技法では染めることが難しいとされる、地球の色「青」と「緑」。
いくつもの色を重ねることでその2色を浮かび上がらせ、空と大地、光と影が溶け合うような奥行きのある色彩に仕上げている。
一枚の中で淡く揺らぐように混ざり合う色合いと、染めならではのムラや濃淡も魅力。
さらにフロント・バック・両袖にシルクスクリーンプリントを施し、360°異なる表情を楽しめるロングスリーブTシャツに仕上げた。
染め上がった後も太陽の光などの影響を受けながら少しずつ色が変化していくため、着用を重ねることで生まれる色の移ろいもお楽しみいただけます。

※一点一点手作業で染色しているため、色味・濃淡・染まり方、柄の出方には個体差がございます。
また、染色の特性上、部分的な色ムラや色の重なりが見られる場合がございます。

【 MISAKI USHIOZU 】
10年以上続けていたバレエから離れ、八百屋でアルバイトをしている際に廃棄される野菜で染色を始めたことから草木染めと出会う。
現在子育てをしながら、自然と共にある創作活動を続けている草木染めアーティスト。


A collaboration with plant-dyeing artist “MISAKI USHIOZU” ( @8msk_31), who is based in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
The colors “blue” and “green”—colors of the earth—are traditionally considered difficult to achieve using pure extraction techniques in plant dyeing.
By layering multiple colors, these two hues are brought to the surface, creating a rich, three-dimensional palette where the sky and earth, light and shadow seem to blend together.
The charm lies in the hues that blend together as if gently shimmering within a single piece, as well as the unique irregularities and variations in shade that are characteristic of hand-dyed fabrics.
Furthermore, silk-screen prints have been applied to the front, back, and both sleeves, resulting in a long-sleeve T-shirt that offers a different look from every angle.
Even after dyeing is complete, the colors continue to change gradually under the influence of sunlight and other factors, so you can enjoy the subtle shifts in color that develop with repeated wear.

*Since each item is dyed by hand, there may be variations in color, shade, dye penetration, and pattern appearance from piece to piece.
Additionally, due to the nature of the dyeing process, you may notice slight color unevenness or overlapping colors in some areas.

【 MISAKI USHIOZU 】
She left ballet, which she had been doing for more than 10 years, and started dyeing with discarded vegetables while working part-time at a grocery store, which is how she discovered plant and wood dyeing.
Currently, while raising her children, she continues to work with nature in her creative activities as an artist.
